You should be reading Dungeon Crawler Carl

If you're a gamer you should be reading Matt Dinniman's "Dungeon Crawler" series. Seriously.

It's like a "Let's Play" video in book form, only the game you're playing is a totally unhinged fever dream game that is basically all of our favorite/classic games blended into a new, insane, game.

Carl and his ex-girlfriend's show cat, Donut, end up in a Dungeon game put on by intergalactic Aliens which is broadcast to the greater universe for their sick pleasure. It's hilarious, it's thrilling, and it has so many great references.

It's an easy read. I started it this summer and I'm already halfway through the eighth book. It gets deeper than the surface summary/synopsis, and a lot of things happen outside the dungeon that are very interesting. Seriously, you should be reading this series!
